Our Morgans grow up in a herd on a farm in the Chattahoochee National Forest in Blue Ridge, GA with fresh air, clean water and plenty of exercise.
Using resistance-free technique to train our colts, by focusing on early equine education, our colts are started under saddle between three and four years of age. Our goal is for our colts to begin their careers with a soft stop, lateral movement, and a willingness to walk, trot, and canter on a loose rein. Early education includes an introduction to collection and self carriage, the ability to change leads, back quietly without resistance and turn on the hind or fore. Within a few months our colts will have considerable trail experience including crossing creeks and other obstacles with confidence.
